# How to form teams in a hackathon/bounty
Instead of questing solo, you can choose to work with your peers and make team submissions in the Hackathon App! You will only be able to form a team after registering for the hackathon/bounty, and only after the submission window has begun.
1. Register for the hackathon / bounty
2. After registration, click `Team & Submission`
3. Click `Create Team` (note: the `Create Team` button will only be available after the submission window has opened)
4. Fill up the team name
5. Under `Add team member`, key in your team member's StackUp email address or username.
6. Click on your teammate, then click on `Add Member`
7. Once you're done, click `Create team`
